If you see one cockroach, odds are they aren't alone. One cockroach can and will quickly turn into an infestation without proper extermination. 

I know you're probably thinking you can just buy foggers, bug bombs or bait to deal with the problem yourself, but please reconsider. These types of things only kill cockroaches that are out and about, and not the ones that are hiding in all those dark places in every nook and cranny where you probably don't even realize they are living.

Here at Hoosier Pest Control, we will come out to your home/business at your first indication you may have a cockroach infestation and do an inspection. The first places we will look that will tell us if you have an infestation is under the sink, behind the fridge and behind the oven. If there is a sighting of cockroaches during the day, in the open, during our inspection, that is a great indication to us that you need extermination right away. Cockroaches usually tend to stay away during the day and come out at night. 

You may be asking yourself how did this infestation start? There are several of different ways this can happen, and it also happens very fast. If you are a business owner and are seeing them at your place of business, a customer could have an infestation problem and have them in their bag that they bring to your business and then leave them behind. The same goes for your house. Maybe a visitor has them and you don't know...they come to visit your house and you can have a house full of cockroaches  in no time! An infestation can also happen when there are open food and crumbs throughout homes for several days with no cleaning taking place. 

Getting rid of these pesky pests usually takes multiple visits to completely take care of the problem. One of our professionals will spray the entirety of your home, in every nook and cranny, killing the cockroaches and their eggs. Typically we will do the first spray and then wait 4 weeks and come back and do a second spray. We typically recommend at least one post treatment, but two is preferred.
